Last week at the greenhouse was all about getting our hands dirty and making progress. We started off by rearranging pallets to make space for new additions, ensuring our greenhouse layout is efficient and organized. Then, we seeded some leafy greens in large pots, setting the stage for a fruitful harvest ahead. In the backroom, we began fertilizing our plants, giving them the nutrients they need to thrive.
Looking ahead to this week's horticultural hangout on Wednesday, we're gearing up for more hands-on work. Our agenda includes transplanting favorites like tomatoes, peppers, and herbs, as well as planting seeds for additional herbs, zucchini, and edible flowers. As always, we're on the lookout for enthusiastic volunteers to join us in our gardening adventures. If you have a passion for plants and want to lend a hand, we'd love to see you on Wednesday!
