About the event
Every Friday morning from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm Kelsie will be in the greenhouse and gardens hosting pest monitoring demonstrations. Learn about harmful insects, diseases, and viruses that can negatively impact the plants in our greenhouse. During these monitoring sessions we will discover topics like monitoring methods to find pests, how to identify them, and treatment plans that will help us manage them to keep our crops healthy.
Please note: it is very warm inside the greenhouse, so dress in light, breathable clothing that you don’t mind getting dirty, wear closed-toe shoes, bring extra drinking water, and remember to take breaks outside if you start to feel too warm.
Due to safety reasons, open-toed shoes (sandals, flip flops, etc.) are not permitted in the greenhouse.
